Medium, self locking bright shiny sterling silver .925 hammered, hand forged knot hoop earrings - In Knots

** Self locking, handmade silver knot hoops are made of sterling silver 20 ga wire

** Fashion sterling silver knot hoop earrings measure slightly more than 1 1/4 inches (2.5 cm ) in diameter (from side to side)

** I've left the silver in its original shiny state. If you'd like them oxidized (also known as antiqued or darkened), just let me know when you check out.

** I make each pair when you order it, so with any handmade item, you should expect some slight variation to the picture shown.

I use pliers to pull the sterling silver wire into a nice knot. I take this knotted silver, and bend it around a mandrel to form the hoop shape. Once it has been formed into a circle, each sterling silver round artisan hoop earring is hammered and then slightly textured to add a bit of interest. After a bit of texturing, I place them in a tumbler for a few hours to make them stronger and form a really shiny burnish on the metal. After a quick bath, they get a final buff before I send them on to you.

*NOTE: these artisan hoops are made from 20 ga wire...as with any smaller gauge more delicate wire, they will bend, so treat them accordingly. You probably shouldn't sleep or wrestle in them. :-) *
