** Self locking silver hoop earrings are made of sterling silver 20 ga wire

** Each hand forged hoop measures about 1 1/4 inches (3.2 cm) wide.

** Each silver hoop earring is filed for smoothness and then tumbled for wearability.

** Each artisan silver hoop earring is individually made when you order it. You should expect some slight variation to the photograph shown.

** Sterling silver has been oxidized (also known as darkened or antiqued). If you would prefer the silver to remain in its natural shiny state, please let me know in the notes to seller comments when you check out.

Each silver hoop earring is hammered and slightly textured for interest. They are oxidized (darkened) and then buffed to accentuate the hammering. A single faceted genuine rock crystal rondelle wrapped in sterling silver .925 wire is hung from each hoop, giving it the appropriate level of flash.

*NOTE: these hoops are made from 20 ga wire...as with any smaller gauge more delicate wire, they will bend, so treat them accordingly. You probably shouldn't sleep or wrestle in them. :-) *
