Product Description

MEANING: Horse Goddess, also Goddess of child bearing, and the home. Roman legionaries, deeply impressed with the Celtic horsemanship, took up the worship of Epona eventually importing Her 'cult' to Rome. She accompanies the souls of honorable people into the land of the dead.

In this variation, Coop has added a Celtic Eternity Braid along the frontal bone to the muzzle.

THE CARVING:
My Carvings are single pieces of western red cedar, designed and carved to be wall hangings. Each piece is finished with a blend of clear oils that brings out the natural color of the wood. For more information on the process of creation, please see my profile.

SIZE:
In the picture with the quilting board the piece is lined up on the 1 inch marks. So subtract 1 inch from the height and width for the stock size. Measurements may vary slightly from piece to piece.
