This necklace and matching earrings use light, dark, and striped amber colored glass beads and metal rimmed buttons.

The beads have a number of finishes: shiny, matt, and Aurora Borealis and a variety of shapes including hexagon and hearts.

The necklace is stung on flexible wire and the wire wrapped drops are done with copper wire.

The clasp is a copper toggle.

I did most of the store displays where I worked and one day the owner wanted me to come up with something to sell more buttons, beads, and a new book about button jewelry.

It was a lot of fun to make a bunch of jewelry for the display. This was one of the pieces I made for that.

Later, I taught several classes on how the basics of how to make jewelry and how to incorporate buttons into the design.
