Midnight at the Oasis is the name of this gorgeous necklace woven in the African Net technique with size 11 seed beads of Midnight Blue Iris. Accenting like stars on a clear desert night are Topaz Swarovski Crystals dangling with Midnight Blue Iris Freshwater Pearls on 14kt gold-filled 24g wire. Central is a Topaz Baroque Swarovski Crystal. 14kt Gold-filled chain finishes the necklace and holds all in place to rest softly below your throat and between the collarbones.

While working on this piece I just felt like I was sitting under a palm tree in a Saharan Oasis at night under moon and stars. The only thing missing was Lawrence of Arabia, lol. Again, pics do not do this piece justice. The sparkle of the Swarovski Crystal focal drop really didn't pick up well, nor the Swarovski Crystals at each of the smaller drops. The lustre of the Fresh Water Pearls is gorgeous and would be stunning under the light of a full moon. The gold-filled chain and handmade hook closure also add a soft glow to this piece. If it doesn't sell soon, I'm probably going to keep this one. :)
