I'm offering several copper bracelets I made about 8 years ago. I took them to several shows, but they quickly got crowded out by silver. They've been banging together in a bag ever since. Time to find them a home!

The bracelet features a pattern that changes continually as it goes around. It's 1/4" thick and will fit a big wrist of about 8 1/2" around. I can cut this one down to a smaller size, but there will be a surcharge for doing so. See the measuring section below. It weighs almost 4 ounces, so it is on the heavy side.

Copper is going to tarnish no matter what you do. I personally prefer to let it go, with only an occasional buffing. I decided not to do any serious refinishing and repolishing on these. There are a few small blemishes that are essentially irrelevant. Copper may also have greening effect on your skin or offer a benefit for arthritis, depending on your body chemistry and belief system. But it's beautiful!

SIZING AND MEASURING: Bracelet sizing is tricky, especially long-distance. Much depends on the shape of your wrist and whether you prefer a looser or tighter fit. Measure the circumference of your wrist at the place you would typically wear your bracelet. Cut a strip of paper about 1/2" wide and 10" long. With some assistance, wrap the strip around your wrist, pull it snug without pinching, and mark the spot where the strip crosses its other end. Given that measurement, I can usually tell if it will fit.
