Handmade etched copper pendant with a handmade lampwork glass bead dangling from a delicate copper chain.

The pendant was cut from a copper sheet and the edges and corners lightly sanded to remove any sharp edges.

The original daisy flower art was carefully drawn on the copper sheet and etched into the metal, then oxidized to fully bring out the design in the copper.

A small lampwork glass bead was added to a delicate chain of copper, mimicking the flower drawn on the pendant.

Rustic, eclectic and organic.

All glass beads are handmade by me in my home studio and kiln annealed for durability and strength. However, they are made of glass and care should be taken as with any items made with glass.

The copper pendant is about 1 3/4 inches long and the chain with the lampwork bead is 2 1/2 inches long.

I strive to make as many of the parts for my jewelry pieces as is possible, and truly enjoy the endless possibilities of pairing my own handmade jewelry components with those that are commercially available, making my handmade jewelry items truly one of a kind.
