Great pro looking results without buying the pro equipment!

Lets face it, we are all trying to make sales in this depressed economy and if you are not wealthy enough to hire a pro to take your shots for you or just not comfortable with your abilities this is the tutorial for you! It does not matter what you make to sell, knowing how to take better pictures goes a long way!

When I first joined Etsy my photos showed how I was just taking "snapshots", ok, but nothing special. My pro photog hubby felt sorry for me, but with his work schedule I didn't wish to burden him with taking the shots for me... so he taught me how, WITHOUT the lightbox or dome... by using:

My stovetop
cutting board
aluminum foil
poster board
my digital camera set on MACRO (won't get close shots without that)
and any props I wanted to use to create interest in my pictures.

I'm sorry to sound so fussy, but it took me some time and effort to put this together and for $5.00 I don't think the tutorial is out of reach for anyone.

This tutorial does not include using external additional lighting or editing in an art program. Those topics will be addressed in an upcoming DVD available later this year.

I will be happy to answer any questions you have concerning lighting or editing (remember, if you take the shot, EDIT the shot or it is "just" a snapshot)
