This 'inchie' (one inch square) pendant is handmade from a glass tile, resin and a high quality reproduction of the heart milagro detail from my original pyrography & acrylic on wood painting, "Praying for (Big) Miracles." Come on, have a heart. No, really. Have one. How about this one?

About your pendant:
* the image is affixed to the back of the glass tile giving the pendant depth and enhancing the image
* the back is sealed with a non-yellowing jewelry grade resin to protect the image
* a pretty heart-shaped sterling plate bail is securely affixed to the back
* a 24" sterling plate ball chain included (customize the length with a pair of nippers or kitchen shears)
* it arrives in a gift box with care instructions.

IMPORTANT NOTE: I always use high quality glass tiles and jewelery grade resin to to create a superior piece of wearable art which will stand up to years of daily wear. Please use care when storing your piece.

Traditionally, milagros (Spanish for "miracles") are small metal charms in the shape of body parts, praying saints, animals, etc., offered to a favorite saint as a reminder of the petitioner's particular need, or they are offered to the saint in thanks for a prayer answered.

Milagros as non-religious symbols have new uses and meanings in New Mexico these days. If a friend is about to have an eye operation, the gift of a eye milagro helps to say, "I wish you well." A pair of lungs can say, "I hope your cold gets better." An arm and a leg given to a couple trying to buy a house can wish them good luck obtaining financing. An ear milagro can suggest that someone be a better listener. An axe milagro might suggest that a relationship should end.
