Under the Sea abstract plexiglass painting

This is a 24" X 18" original acrylic plexiglass painting. The front of painting has a high gloss surface due to the solid plexiglass surface. The painting was created by applying acrylic paints onto the reverse side of the plexiglass allowing the vibrancy of the paint colors to shine through on the front side of the solid reflective plexiglass surface (reflective qualities seen in second photo). The painting has a smaller wood mount on backside allowing the painting to sit 1 inch away from the wall to give a floating look as seen in second photo. This is intentionally a frameless floating contemporary look. The third photo is a zoom in section of painting, all others show the entire plexiglass painting. When you determine if you would like to hang horizontal or vertical I will sign the work. I intersperse pearlized/metallic acrylic paints and copper leaf for a shimmer which gives a gorgeous depth and luster when viewed from various angles. The paints used are acrylic in aqua, teal, black, copper and white tones. You can see the copper leaf and metallic paints shining through . I personally make each painting and no two are identical. This painting picks up so many pearlized colors giving added shimmer when viewed from different angles , thanks for looking.
