This is a 24" X 18" original acrylic plexiglass painting. The front of the painting has a high gloss "glass like" surface apparent as a transparent border on the entire outer edge of the painting . The painting is created on the reverse side of the finished surface, allowing the vibrancy of the paints to shine through. This is one solid piece of plexiglass, there are no layers.
The painting has a smaller wood mount on the underside of painting allowing the painting to sit 1 inch away from the wall, displaying a floating, frameless look. When you determine if you would like to hang horizontally or vertically I will sign the work. I intersperse pearlized/metallic paints for a shimmer which gives a gorgeous depth and luster when viewed from various angles. All gold leaf and silver and copper leaf will have maximum sparkle as well. Other colors used are aqua, teal, blue, purple, and white with many other subtle shades.
