Wow! Isn't this a beautiful piece of intarsia. Intarsia means inlay work but what a simple way to describe something so lovely.

This piece is mushroom jasper and turquoise. The back of the intarsia stone is solid turquoise. This real turquoise is very blue but has some darker matrix. The tiny bead spacers are sterling plated as are the 3 inch extender chain and hook clasp. The necklace is 19.5 inches before the extender chain. Sterling crimps and plated wire guards were used for quality construction.

Mushroom jasper is a multi colored stone, reddish brown, gray, beige and blue all suspended in a translucency. It looks 3 dimensional.

This will be shipped to you in a fabric pouch cradled in a cardboard shipping box for safety.

Delicate and unusual, intarsia is a master made craft. I choose stones for their color and quality of workmanship.
