Allegheny Hearth pure Avocado Butter is expeller crushed from the fresh flesh of the avocado fruit and then hydrogenated to yield a soft ivory color butter. Avocado Butter is a very rich, natural moisturizing treatment for the hair and skin. This butter can be a little heavy, but it is definitely worth it in small amounts. A little goes a long way, just place a dab in the palm of your hand and apply.

The oil from the avocado fruit is high in Vit. E. Avocado butter absorbs readily into skin, lips and hair as a great moisturizer.

Moisturizer

Avocado butter can be applied directly to warm, moist skin and rub in thoroughly for best results. Use on elbows, hands, knees or anywhere that tend to be dry skin areas.

Lip Treatment
Avocado butter can be directly applied to your lips to make them look shiny, healthy and moisturized. You only need a small amount Use it whenever you need some extra moisture on your lips.

Pre-shampoo Hair Treatment

You can apply a small amount of this butter to your hair and scalp for a pre-shampoo, deep conditioning treatment. Massage it in and leave it for an hour before rinsing it off with shampoo and warm water. You can use it plain or mix it your regular conditioner.

Leave-In Conditioner

Avocado butter works well as a leave-in conditioner for dry hair. Apply the avocado butter to the ends of your hair and massage in. You only need a small amount. People with fine, thin or limp hair may find that the heavy consistency will weigh the hair down if applied as a leave-in conditioner.
