Each summer we had a reunion at the family homestead. There was a wild rose bush that was in bloom and we would gather near the flowering delight to take photos. My Mom's album has pictures of me from age 1 in front of that bush with many of my cousins, aunts and uncles.

When we purchased our current home in 1975, the same wild rose bush grew on the bank in our front yard. Thus my inspiration
