Ancient Treasure arises from a beautiful assortment of ten different transparent glasses in shades of purple, teal, aqua and pink, which will sparkle over silver foil forever. All of the beads in the Ancient Treasure series are quite time intensive. I usually spend three or four hours just pulling the necessary stringers to produce these - before I wind any beads at all. The foil is draped over a base of soft ivory glass.

These Ancient Treasure lentil beads measure approximately 18mm, and have been hand-wound on 1/16" (1.59mm) mandrels. Please see similar listing for 13mm and 15mm sized beads!

A note about bead sizes: Every effort is made to send you beads that "match" as to size, as well as in appearance, and shape. I understand how important your jewelry designs are to you, which is why I do the selections myself.

A most important part of the creation process involves the annealing of the bead. As annealing has a direct effect on the longevity, strength, durability, and continuing beauty of the piece, I use a kiln designed for temperatures in excess of 1000 degrees Fahrenheit. The temperatures are controlled digitally, by a state-of-the-art Fuji computerized controller, which is calibrated for optimum results.

When I hand select your beads for shipping I am always careful to pick beads that are as close together in size and shape as I can get them.
