This Ammonite Fossil is over 300 million years old discovered in the Sahara Desert! I used mahogony beads I picked up in Hawaii which really blend well with the fossil. Wear this and I guarantee it will be a conversation starter! The fossil is about 1 1/5 inches long and the entire necklace hangs at about 21 inches with a toggle style closer. It is light weight and would be quite comfortable to wear. I use 49 strand strength on the wire - very sturdy!
