This lavish flower hair clip is made from rare antique, pleated ombre ribbon (rayon fibres), combined with a bold vintage brass flower. The centre of the brass flower features a single pre WWII German glass nailhead, encased within a vintage filigree cup. The patina on the brass flower glows with the same orange hues of the shimmering ribbon.

The hair clip is attached to the back via a fabric stitched 'slot' - simply slide the clip in. This allows for the hair clip to be easily converted to a brooch. To do this, slide the clip out and attach a safety pin to the fabric slot. A vintage brass safety pin is included for this option.

This hair clip is entirely stitched by hand and is a limited edition piece - no more than three of this design will be made with this ribbon, due to its limited supply. Antique ombre ribbon of this quality is rare, making this unique hair accessory a wearable collectors item!
