This luxurious flower hair accessory is made from rare antique French metal lace (real metal threads wrapped around a black cotton core), combined with a filigree vintage brass centre. The centre of the flower features a black single vintage (pre WWII German) glass nailhead, surrounded by tiny red antique glass beads.

A bobby pin is attached to the back via a fabric stitched 'slot' - simply slide the pin in. This allows for the hair accessory to be easily converted to a brooch. To do this, slide the bobby pin out and attach a safety pin to the fabric slot. A vintage brass safety pin is included for this option. You may choose which colour bobby pin you require to match your hair colour - simply state fair, medium or dark in the comment section on checkout.

This hair accessory is entirely stitched by hand and is a limited edition piece. No more than three of this design will be made with this metal lace, making this hair accessory a wearable collectors item!
