I brought together three of my favorite gemstones in this Y-shaped, color-drenched necklace.

The pendant portion is made with a 14 mm rusty-orange colored crab fire agate rondelle and a chalk turquoise bead that I wire-wrapped and topped with sterling silver Bali bead caps. The crab fire agate is beautiful, with it's lighter colored veins, and contrasts well with the soft blue of the chalk turquoise.

The pendant is flanked with deep orange carnelian barrel beads and chalk turquoise disks on a hammered anti-tarnish Argentium sterling silver cable chain. Carnelian is the gemstone Italian craftsmen use to carve cameos.

The total length of this necklace is 17 1/2 inches and it closes with a lobster clasp.

This necklace is especially stunning when worn with a V-neckline blouse or dress.
