This piece comes from a private collection put into storage over 40 years ago! Jennie Blue is a clear light blue turquoise probably from Arizona.

I will be listing other such cabochons over the next day or so. Please check back if you are interested in these vintage treasures.

Much of the turquoise in the current market comes from China. The best material came from right here in the United States. This high domed cabochon is from Nevada.

This stone measures 24mm x 16mm and would be ideal for wire wrapping or bezel setting. It weighs 12 carats!
