No they are not "real" turquoise. They are dyed howlite, which is a natural white gemstone that is dyed different colors. Much "turquoise" sold today is dyed howlite or magnesite which is all stablized and color shot except for the white. Many vendors sell this as stabilized turquoise, and call it "turquoise".
