I am in LOVE with Picture Jasper, I think it is a fantastic stone for cabachons and the pictures within the stones are mesmerizing. There are many many kinds of picture jasper and I love them all. Here is a GLASS bead mix that I designed to mimic Owyhee Picture Jasper.
Owyhee Picture Jasper, which is found in the region known as The Owyhees, which encompasses part of southeast Oregon and southwest Idaho. In the Northwest it is referred to as the King of Picture Jasper.

BEADS ARE ENLARGED TO SHOW DETAIL. SIZE OF BEAD IS SEED BEAD SIZE 6/0 OR 4mm which
equals 6 or 7 beads per inch strung.
