This is an original watercolor painting by me, done on 140-lb watercolor paper (archival).

Painting is 8 x 11 inches and is signed and dated either on the back.

Price is for painting only with no matting and no framing.



Will be enclosed in poly sleeve and protected well for shipping.

I create a lot of my "fantasy" paintings by starting with a blind scribble - i.e. take my pen and with eyes closed and randomly let my pen wander over the page. With this one, I did not see anything in particular when I started painting. In fact, the image was 90 degrees turned when I drew it and started applying colors to the shapes that were there.

I turned the paper to paint a section easier and saw this lovely creature emerge, so I further defined it and now present it to you.
