This royal blue, gold and pearl bracelet is 1-3/4" wide with rows of blue glass seed beads, silver-lined gold glass cylinder beads and white freshwater pearls. The edges have an almost ruffled look with royal blue picots giving the bracelet a very finished and "dressier" look. Gold glass seed beads accent the colors and frame the closure. Closure is with toggles made from the same materials making this piece totally without metal - which is helpful for those with metal allergies. The bracelet is made to a size 7".

I love cuff bracelets but they often feel too bulky or "thick" to me. I was also interested in doing more work with seed beads, even though they are definitely labor intensive. So I found a look similar to this in a magazine and worked out a pattern that resulted in this piece, which required between 7-8 hours to make.
