These earrings are made of money!



They feature Indian coin silver -- old silver coins that were melted down to use as jewelry and other items. Their silver content is approximately .8 to .85, slightly less than sterling silver.



The silver oval shapes are hollow and light with a branch-like pattern on them. They dangle from an interlocking pair of hematite "pacman" style beads. Additional 4mm hematite rounds are at the base of the coin silver.



Believed to aid the circulatory system, hematite also is said to enhance memory and intellect, aid in clarity and balance and to help build peaceful relationships.



These earrings hang 62mm (2-3/8 inches) from Bali sterling silver earwires, which can be replaced by traditional earwires or leverbacks at no cost.
