This is a pocket organizer like those that hang on doors, but on a much smaller scale. It is better suited for a corner of your kitchen, or hang it from a magnetic hook on your refrigerator. The 6 and 1/2 by 16 inch organizer hangs on a 3 inch ribbon and the pockets are large enough for mail, pens, kitchen utensils, small toys, sewing notions, just about anything you have that needs some pretty storage.
How about filling it with some useful kitchen paraphernalia for a shower gift? Fill it with a notepad, some pens, a book of stamps and some postcards to give to a college student or a friend who is moving away.

I used a pretty pale green hand dyed fabric to back up the herbal garden fabric of this pockets.
