Product Description

This is a wonderful quilted wall hanging for a garden room or a child's room. Friendly bugs enjoy their summer day on a checkerboard of color. I embellished the appliqued flowers and animals with a buttonhole embroidery stitch. Simple nine patch blocks create the checkerboard look. A scalloped border finishes it off in cheerful country style. The quilting was done by hand.
The quilt is 24 inches by 36 inches. It has plastic rings on the back for hanging. This quilt should be hand washed.

Inspiration/Story Behind This Product

My garden inspires a lot of my quilting. This quilt was created when a friend suggested gardens for a theme. I added some friends to enjoy the flowers.
