This fabric box is the gingerbread house I always wanted to create. It's not edible, but then again it won't ever go bad! It's festooned with ribbons and lace and rickrack. The house is built around stiff interfacing and the roof comes off, making it a box for treasures or candy. If you're looking for a very unique way to wrap up a special gift, this is it. Fill it with candy or cheese and crackers and it makes the perfect hostess gift. The sides of the house are 5 by 6 inches and the point of the roof is 8 inches high.
