Blue stars sparkle on this all American miniature red white and blue quilt. The border has just a touch of gold. The red country patterned setting blocks are hand quilted with stars that echo the blue and white blocks, and the border quilting mimics the chord that you'd see on a flagpole. The star blocks on this quilt are a mere 4 inches square, which makes the half triangle squares 1 inch!
This quilt is 31 by 23 inches, a good size for 18 inch dolls.It would look lovely on an antique or modern doll's bed.
It has plastic rings on the back for hanging. I got a tip from a design expert a long time ago that has worked well for me and is a perfect solution for apartment dwellers. She suggested using simple straight pins to hang lightweight objects. They are too small to leave a mark on your walls.

To be honest, when I hung this on my wall to photograph, it almost didn't come back down! It may be my favorite miniature quilt.
