Product Description

A shimmery golden sea turtle swims across the ocean blue iridescent art glass tile that is securely bonded to the lid of this beautiful rosewood miniature box. The simple line drawing is hand drawn with 22k gold and fired permanently into the art glass tile.

This precious miniature box can fit in the palm of your hand and is wonderful for holding your tiny treasures. It measures 2.75" square by 1.75" tall. Decorative and functional, it also makes a great gift.

Inspiration/Story Behind This Product

I study nature, photographing and sketching what I see. My images are then transformed into simplified 22k gold line drawings on glass.

Because I love sparkle, I use mostly iridescent glass, but I can draw on any glass you prefer. If you'd like this image in a different color; or a different image on this color I'd be happy to make it for you. Simply send me a note here or via my email: linda at steiderstudios dot com.

The gold I use is suspended in a liquid binder and available to purchase in my 'mica and tools' section. It's fired into the glass for permanence and will not scratch off.
