I fell in love with the color of glaciers while teaching in Alaska and just as soon as I returned home began trying to replicate it. Incorporating 'glacier colors' in my Celestial Series, this sweet miniature art glass bowl is full of those glacier blues as well as sparkly iridescence and 22k gold.

The gold is hand drawn spirals representing our connectedness with the universe and fired in for permanence The spirals beneath, in glacier blues are also hand drawn. Spirals upon spirals in a miniature art glass bowl that fits in the palm of your hand.

Measures Approximately 3.5" in diameter and sits .5" tall. I do my best to keep them perfectly round, but please keep in mind they are hand cut, built and fired. The edges are then further rounded on a flat grinding disc before they go into the little bowl molds that were hand made for me by a potter friend. Each is unique and special and signed on the back.

I originally made them as a receptacle for your used tea bag, but most people use them instead as tiny treasure holders. Beads, earrings, rings, and small precious items. What will you do with yours?

My celestial series is about our connections - with each other and the universe. "I know your sister's neighbor's mother's nephew"...or "I went to school with your brother's friend's sister's neighbor"...or..."I lived in the house 3 doors down from you when we were kids, but I moved in 10 years after you moved out"...you know what I'm saying!

We're all connected under one sky and depending on how the world rotates on any given day we just might bump into each other.
