Three shades of red subtly blended on a miniature iridescent art glass bowl with squiggly lines drawn through makes this a uniquely special piece in the continuation of my 'Celestial Series'. The miniatures in my Celestial Series are oh so sweet, you'll want a collection of them.

The 22k gold symbol I used could be considered (my interpretation of) the chinese character for well, the music symbol for sharp, or just squiggly number signs arranged in a pyramid with three dots at the base. The gold is drawn by hand and fired in for permanence, so it won't scratch off.

The smallest of my minis, it measures approximately 2 7/8" in diameter and sits .75" tall. I do my best to keep them perfectly round, but please keep in mind they are hand cut, built and fired. The edges are then further rounded on a flat grinding disc before they go into the little bowl molds that were hand made for me by a potter friend. Each is unique and special and signed on the back.

I originally made them as a receptacle for your used tea bag, but most people use them instead as tiny treasure holders. Beads, earrings, rings, and small precious items. What will you do with yours?

My celestial series is about our connections - with each other and the universe. "I know your father's sister-in-law's mother's nephew"...or "I went to school with your cousin's girlfriend's cousin"...or..."I lived in the house 3 doors down from you when we were kids, but 2 years before you moved in"...you know what I'm saying!

We're all connected under one sky and depending on how the world rotates on any given day we just might bump into each other.
