Three white sheet are hung on a clothesline where they billow in the breeze. The sky is a striated wash of bright light blues (some aqua, cerulean, and periwinkle) with thin wind-drawn clouds. The ground is a rich sage wash punctuated with bright red poppies. It's a whimsical illustration that combines my drawings with my paintings. It's got easy country charm and bright clear colors: cerulean blue, bright red, sage green, and soft white.

This is a digital print. The original image is a digital collage. A black and white pen & ink drawing was scanned into Photoshop where it was manipulated with color fills, and fills created from scans of photos or drawings or magazines or objects. Since the "original" image is digital, the only physical form in which it exists is as a print. The image size is 8 inches by 10 inches, which is printed on an 8.5 by 11 inch piece of bristol. Bristol is an archival quality acidofree artist's material, it has a smooth matte surface and is similar in thickness to a piece of posterboard. This print was printed on an Epson printer with ultrachrome ink, which is fade resistant and non-acidic. This is an open edition print which is signed (Sarah Knight) in black ink in the lower right-hand corner. The image that appears in this listing does not display a signature. Each print is signed individually.
