It's winter. A blanket of snow covers the ground. The night sky is a star-studded shade of indigo, and snowflakes float through the air. Two snowmen are gathered outside enjoying a mug of hot chocolate. Each has a knitted cap and flowing scarf. It's a whimsical and cozy winter illustration

This is a digital print. The original image is a digital collage. A black and white pen & ink drawing was scanned into Photoshop where it was manipulated with color fills, and fills created from scans of my photos and scans of things my mother has knit. Since the "original" image is digital, the only physical form in which it exists is as a print. The image size is 8 inches by 10 inches, which is printed on an 8.5 by 11 inch piece of bristol. Bristol is an archival quality acidofree artist's material, it has a smooth matte surface and is similar in thickness to a piece of posterboard. This print was printed on an Epson printer with ultrachrome ink, which is fade resistant and non-acidic. This is an open edition print which is signed (Sarah Knight) in black ink in the lower right-hand corner. The image that appears in this listing does not display a signature. Each print is signed individually.
