Clark was a celebrated book illustrator prominent during the so called "Golden Age of Illustration" (the first quarter or so of the twentieth century.)

This 1976 reprint of the original work from 1916 is done on heavy grade paper and has a lovely soft sheen. This is a replica of the 1917 original and is simply stunning.
