Here's we see a small group of people; a woman with a parasol and two gentlemen standing in the midst of the ancient ruins of Rome. The temple Of Saturn is shown on the left and the Capitol is shown in the center. The gate to the Colleseum is shown on the right.
This lovely 6 1/4" x 9 3/4" antique lithograph of Ancient Rome is captured in glowing warm amber light of the first moments of early morning. It's a gem.

This amazing German illustration is just one of several harvested from a collection of simply fabulous chromo illustrations from the turn of the century. It's printed on heavy glassy paper and is blank on the reverse.
