A gorgeous centerfold engraving featuring the latest Autumn styles of sumptuous gowns, fancy hats and elaborate hairstyles for women was harvested from my very own collection of beautiful Victorian illustrations from the late 1800s; Les Modes Parisiennes September Fashions 1871.

This sweet frame-worthy antique print is from Peterson's Magazine For Ladies. What a stunning frame-worthy gift for the theatrical costumer or collector of Victorian art in your life!

I've been holding on to my collection long enough to know that I won't ever get around to framing them all, so I'm offering them here to you.

'1871 Les Modes Parisiennes September Woman's Fashions' measures 9.25" x 11.5" and blank on the reverse. It's in smooth condition; aged to a lovely soft and even light tanning with the usual spots one find on paper that's 139 years old. There are several small punctures at the center fold line from where this print was bound inside the magazine, as there are with all of these pretty fashion prints.
This sweet illustration would be simply wonderful framed.
