'Balloon Ride' is an original trade publication promotional illustration created for the Ladies Home Journal executed in halftones by a brand new printing process; The Bassani process which eliminated the need to use steel plates or retouch by hand. This jewel of a print is by The Beck Engraving Company of Philadelphia in 1927.

She's in wonderful smooth condition with sound edges, sharp corners and almost no tanning to speak of at all; pretty amazing considering this gorgeous print is 85 years old!

We should all look this stunning at 85.

This jaw-dropping double sided antique print is done on heavy quality paper stock and features another illustration the same period on the reverse; a very cool ad of Art Deco women's jewelry of the same period.
