I used 10mm beige glass pearls and square shell beads for this necklace. The shell beads are drilled on the diagonal so they have more of a diamond shape. They are have different variations. They are a copper color and have a shiny
laquered finish. The back half of the necklace is finished with a silver plated chain and lobster clasp. The beaded part of the necklace is 16 1/2 inches and the chain is 6 inches on both sides for a total length of 28 1/2 inches. The links in the chain are big enough that you could clasp it further down the chain for a shorter length if desired.
