This is a triple strand necklace. It is made with a variety of beads all in different shades of pink and purple. The shortest strand is 16 inches and is made using 6mm round light purple jasper alternating with 8/0 translucent purple seed beeds. The middle strand is 18 inches in lenght and is made with light and dark purple amethyst chips and 10mm light pinkish purple glass hearts. The longest strand is 22 inches in length and is made with 3mm pink glass rondelles and 8/0 translucent purple seed beads. All of the strands are attached to a silver 3 to 1 connector and then finished with a silver round toggle clasp. This adds approximately 2 inches to the total length of this necklace.

I had several pink and purple beads left over from other projects. I saw the pink hearts and got the idea to combine them with my "leftovers" to make a cute Valentine themed necklace that could be worn any time of the year.
