Lavender is said to soothe the savage beast. (I said it, by the way.) Totally true! I am a beast in the morning and lavender keeps my pre-coffee snarling to a minimum. But I digress.....here is more about this bestselling bar:

This luxury bar is full of skin-loving ingredients like olive oil, powdered chamomile and real silk! This bar's beautiful purple swirls come from natural pigment, and the fragrance is natural Lavender Essential oil. Essential oils are natural plant essences and should not be confused with "fragrance oils" which are synthetic. Please see below for complete list of ingredients. Also please note that we do use nut oils in most of our soaps, so people with nut allergies should not use our products. I formulated this specific recipe with my own very dry skin in mind....so it is perfect for winter skin! This soap is made by way of the cold process method. All of the natural glycerin (which is a by-product of saponification) remains in the bar. Most factory-made "soaps" are actually detergent bars! I'll bet you didn't know that. Our artisan soaps are all unique recipes formulated by yours truly! I operate on a smaller scale with intense quality control. If I wouldn't use it, I won't sell it. Period.

Handmade soap care: To get the most life out of your handmade soaps, please follow these helpful hints.

1. Keep your soap dry in between uses! Handmade soap will disintegrate if left in a puddle in your shower! It should be kept on a soapdish that drains well.

2. Wash with the lather, not the bar! A bath pouf or louffa sponge works best.
