The White Dawn Clutch is named after the White Dawn Rose, a delicate petaled rose with hardy survival instincts.

The White Dawn Clutch is hand crocheted and lined with coordinating fabric. I used Tunisian crochet (crochet with a long hook) to create a soft, supple crocheted fabric. The kid mohair and silk blend yarn provides sheen and luster and a fuzzy feel to the crocheted fabric.

The inside is lined with 100% cotton fabric from the Mikoto Collection designed by Kona Bay Fabrics (Japanese inspired fabric from Hawaii). The blue, gray, and navy flowers are printed in gold.

The fabric lining peaks out to form the handles, which are reinforced with Tangan Tangan, a non-indigenous plant that was introduced in Saipan after World War II.

The reinforced bottom provides this delicate looking clutch with hardy survival instincts.

As a final touch, the White Dawn Clutch is adorned with a removable flower pin made of wool, kid mohair, and silk.
