Here is a very sweet, vintage, genuine 14k gold and diamond ring. This ring is not stamped but I have had it tested by a professional jeweler with over 30 years of experience and it is definitely 14k gold and the diamond is genuine. :)

This is a real find! There is some natural wearing off of some of the detail on the gold. Also, the shank has at some time been replaced and they used the wrong karat of solder so there was a slight discoloration on either side of the decorative part at the top so I had it repaired. The repair took away a small part of the design on one side due to the spread of the discolored solder but it was very successful and now I feel confident that the ring is ready for sale. However, this ring is sold 'as is'.

It is very difficult to see in the pictures but the very top of the gold, around the actual diamond, is white gold while the rest is yellow gold.

The ring is a size 7.25. The diamond is almost 3mm diameter and is a round cut (I think it's a brilliant cut?).

I can't remove the diamond to measure the weight of the stone (because I don't want to compromise the integrity of the setting) but based on it's diameter I would guess it to be about 0.1ct or 1/10 of a ct. Again, I can't remove it to really get a good look at it but I was unable to identify any occlusions under a 10X (although I'm no diamond specialist) and it looks very white and clear to me. I would GUESS (and again I'm no diamond expert) that it was around a VS with a color of around G-H. But again, that is just a guess and the ring is sold "as is".

I just love this ring. It has a good 'vibe'. :)
