I love this piece. The chain is brass (I think) and has a bit of a patina on it. The original necklace had a large red plastic bead above the tassel which Ive replaced with a gorgeously clear, huge, solid smokey topaz gemstone. This could be a bit of a conversation piece. :)The chain is about 20 and has been repaired in one place, but it isnt very noticeable unless you know its there (see the picture).
