A safe, wearable blanket for your infant to sleep in; the Baby Co-Z's Sleep Sack. It is the perfect way to keep baby warm when napping or at night!

Keeping blankets in your baby's bed isn't a smart idea. For one, once babies are out of the 'swaddling' stage, they move around so much, they'll be out from under the blanket for most of the night. Secondly, since they move so much, babies could get caught sleeping with the blanket on their face and there is a risk of suffication or breathing uncirculated air. So I came up with the Baby Co-Z's.

Baby Co-Z's are just like a sleeping bag and is worn like a jacket. It is made of a double layer of Blizzard fleece so it is super warm. There is a zipper that goes to just about the end of the sleep sack. At the top of the zipper, a fleece flap covers the zipper pull and the flap stays down with velcro. Baby won't get scratched by the zipper or won't be tempted to chew on it! There is also plenty of wiggle room in the leg section of this sack.

The two layers of fleece will keep your baby nice and warm when you keep your home on the cooler side. I have created the Baby Co-Z's with a printed (heart outlines on pink) outer layer and a coordinating solid (pink) fleece inner layer. There are no exposed seams and all outer edges are top stitched down for a well finished look.

I created Baby Co-Z's for my very cold-blooded baby! There were a number of mornings when I would wake him up and his hands would be cold as well as his arms and legs were turning purple from cold. After creating the Baby Co-Z's, my baby slept soundly and in the morning, there were no cold hands! I was also able to carry him around the house and feed him his bottle while he stayed in his Co-Z's and I didn't have to worry about dropping blankets. I say that this is the best idea to keep my freeze-bug warm!

I know that sizing for babies can be difficult especially if you want something that baby can wear for quite a while! The Baby Co-Z's are roomy and can be worn when your baby is on either side of the size you get. The baby in the example pictures is 7months old, 17lbs, and is 26" long. He just barely fits in the small sized Co-Z's. He perfectly fits in the medium sized Co-Z's and has about 2 more inches of growth left in it. The large sized Co-Z's gives him the most growing space yet is not too big in the girth; it will fit him for several months more. If your baby you are buying for is in the middle or larger end of an above size, I would suggest getting the next size up so you get a longer use out of your Co-Z's!
