An Ode to Watermelon Tourmaline...I would try that color palette but using enamel. The slightly concave disk in shades green and pink. MANY colors of enamel are needed to achieve this blend. The disks are suspended from handcrafted sterling bail, oxidized to add warmth and depth. So many firings and so much time to produce this effect. But worth it.

Enameling is fusing glass to metal, in this case copper. Each piece is fired multiple times including the back.
