Sea Aqua and Cream Copper Enamel Earrings

Product Description

First copper discs are cut then I hand curl back a portion of the copper, all shaped by hand. I have to enamel each color separately so the front and back colors remain true. I carry the back color around as it curls to the front. This pair is Sea Green/Aqua and Cream. All are fired on the back for stability. Never accept enameling that is not enameled on both sides. The ear wires are hand crafted of 20 gauge sterling silver.

Enameled portion: 3/4" across

Enameling is fusing glass to metal, in this case copper. Each piece is fired multiple times including the back.
