Chartreuse and Peridot Cluster Cup Earrings

Product Description

Hand formed cups or flowers of copper. Then enamel is added and fired. The color is chartreuse with touches of yellow/green and grass green. The enamel is then treated so that it has a matte finish. I made the cups/flowers out of a thinner gauge copper so they are still lightweight. They are assembled using sterling silver which has been oxidized for a better contrast with the enamel.

Enameling is fusing glass to metal, in this case copper. Each piece is fired multiple times including the back to 1500 degrees.
