Product Description

Hand formed "cups" or flowers of copper. Then enamel is added and fired. the color is blue with touches of darker blue. It reminds me of faded denim. The cups are then treated so that they have a matte finish. I made the cups or flowers out of a thinner gauge copper so they are still lightweight. They are assembled using sterling silver which has been oxidized for a better contrast with the enamel.

Enameling is fusing glass to metal, in this case copper. Each piece is fired multiple times including the back to 1500 degrees.
