Sparkling stones meet hammered facets in an explosion of brilliance - I've paired lilac cubic zirconia (CZ) pear drops set in sterling silver with handmade almond-shaped earwires hammered on the front-facing side.

The result is a set of Dazzling Drops: dainty enough for everyday wear, with subtle glitz for special occasions. I hope you like these particular drops - they have a slight colour change property which causes them to appear lilac purple in natural daylight and a very pale but no less glittery light bluish lavender under fluorescent light. Please see the last photo for this!

Earrings measure approximately 1.6" or 40mm including earwires. The CZ drops are 11x8.5mm and have a pointy back. The earwires are made from 18 gauge sterling silver wire, so they are slightly thicker than my usual earwires which usually run from 20-21 gauge.

** Cubic Zirconia is a man-made jewellery component synthesized from zirconium dioxide. It is a well-known diamond simulant as it is relatively hard (Mohs 8) and optically flawless. You can expect it to display diamond-like exceptional brilliance!
